Not many people recommend them because of via's reputation, but have you considered the p4x266 ddram chipset for the P4. It is only 1-3% slower then rdram, but the boards are alot cheaper. The 2 boards available with this chipset in socket 478 are the shuttle av40 and Azza p2x4 at $125 and $110. Tom's reviewed this chipset and liked it. As far as dual socket 370, why waste your money on a dead horse?

1. Socket 370 is P3, not P4. I don't know which you mean.
2. I don't know of any dual P4 boards, and the P4B and P4T certainly aren't.
3. Stay away from P4+SDRAM. Bad, bad, bad. Get P4X266 or i850.
4. RDRAM is better for a P4 than DDR. More than 1-3%, more like 25%.
5. If you're buying P4, make sure it's Socket 478. I recommend the TH7-II.
