Can this laptop run The Sims 3?

A friend of mine is obssesed with the sims 3, to the point where she is willing to buy a new laptop to run it. After some searching for deals she found this one, which should run it, but I would like some expert opinions. And how well do you think it will run?

In short, yes, but you may have to tweak the video settings as the laptop is using Intel HD integrated graphics and other games may not work very well.

That would barely, barely run the game. If she bought that, then I think pretty soon she will be frustrated with it.

It's almost like throwing away $510 + taxes + shipping because it will not be a good gaming experience.

At a minimum, I would get the following Acer Aspire with an AMD A8-3500M APU + Radeon HD 6470 for $519
