Settlers 2 editor issue

I have Settlers 2 running on my Windows XP. The game itself runs just fine but when I save anything on the Map Editor, it crashes. Can someone help me please? I will be very grateful.

Had the same problem. Fixed it by creating a subdirectory "worlds in settlers directory".
Eg: if you settlers 2 program is in this directory "c:\s2" then create a subdirectory as follows: "c:\s2\worlds"
I figured it out from the error message displayed in dosbox.
