I recently purchased a 17' ProView monitor from Wal-Mart.

It has .27 mm dot pitch, so I thought it would look fairly nice compared to my old 15' monitor.

The problem is that the nearer to the top of the screen, the image gets blurry, I've heard people talk about refresh rates, and stuff like that. Maybe that would help.

Should I take the monitor back? Does anyone have any ideas on this problem? The bottom of the screan is crip and clear just like my current monitor, but the top half gets kindof like it is flashing slightly when I look closly at detailed objects.

I'm using a Voodoo 3, not that I think it is envolved.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Yeah, I think I will.

The problem isn't too bad, and I can't see it in games at all, but it does seem to make anything in the top portion of my screen slighly blurred.

Wal-Mart isn't known for having the greatest quality of stuff. My monitor isn't that bad, I bet most people wouldn't notice it. Oh well at least they'll take it back.
