Hi Ankit, Phenom x4 9850 CPU is a pretty decent processor but first of all you have to specify your resolution at which you want to play games so that according to that we can recommend you the best GPU for you.

As Rocky stated what resolution do you game at? Also you may need to upgrade PSU at some point if you get some of the newer gen graphic cards. Also at 2.4 ghz you may want to OC the CPU if at all possible or the newest $190+ video cards ATI 6000's and Nvidia 500 series WILL be bottlenecked. List all your specs and people can help you much more than just listing your CPU.

Also ....AMD Phenom 9850? I think you have the wrong CPU #

The best GPU that you can buy is HD 4650 and it is available at RS. 3650.
It will full fill all your need of gaming and you can extend your resolution upto 1366x768 to play all the latest games at maximum settings.

below this card i will not recommend any card as the cheapest will be GT210 which will come at more than 3000 RS and will give you very poor performance so. Get the processor you want and get the above card for your better gaming experience.

I have the AMD X4 9950 over clocked from 2.6 to 2.8. I once had it at 3.0 until I added a newer video card. This is on a stock cooler.
If you get this CPU and OC'd it you should get it up to 2.9+ with enough power and cooling. Since you're not running at a high resolution I see no problems of you playing these games...but that all depends on your video card.
I can play Crysis, Bad Company 2 with no issues.
fyi: I have a GeForce 450 GTS with a 500 watt PSU and 4 gigs memory.

Yeah as he stated a 450 or 460 would most likely allow you to crank graphics ....might even let you turn them up a little because at 800-600 you really dont need/cant see improvements in game such as AA/AF etc. At 800-600 you get ALOT of jaggies , might want to up your resolution a bit if you get a new card and cpu as your experience will be improved 10x.
