The Audio & Video playback is running 5x times faster then normal. Basically it seems like the 'fast forward' button is on. The sound with all apps is just "chipmonk" gibberish.

I've loaded the lastest RealTek and ATI drivers/codes and even reloaded the operating system numerous times, but nothing seems to work.

I'm not sure if it's a Motherboard, Bios, IRQ, Driver, Codec or Hardware issue.

Any help or suggestions?

Well after screwing around with drivers, codecs and bios changes over and over and over. It just started working normal again after the 7th operating system reload. I suspect there may be a quirky bug with the bios.
