I am currently running win xp, an AMD 1800+, Geforce 4 Ti 4200, with 40.something det drivers. I am having this WIERD reoccurring problem.

Every now and then, becoming more and more common, my screen will suddenly become blurred with graphics all over, color and pixels, boxes, wierd stuff moving around. Everything freezes up.

What can be causing this? It's driving me nuts, and I can't figure out how to fix it=( lol. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Well first I would update to the newest drivers version 41.09... the early 40.xx where kinda buggy.
But as Wusy said it could be due heat problems... so check if your CPU isn't running too hot and that your case is to hot inside.

My PC eats so much money that I'm in 'desperate' need of it to buy PC3500 RAM, help Svol with his OC project!
