Chipset Question

I am looking at a system that uses the VIA KT266. CPU is the AMD 1.2. The heaviest use of system will be doing photo editing. No video. No internet use on this system. No games. My question, should I wait for the VIA KT266A chipset to come out or would the KT266 meet my modest needs. Thanks all for your input.
