HP laserjet 1000

I have an application running under Unixware, and we use Samba for file and
print sharing. A customer has an HP LJ1000 that we were able to print to
from our application using samba's smbclient on their W98 PC. They upgraded
the PC to XP PRO - and print jobs no longer work - they show up in the
queue, but nothing prints. Windows jobs print OK.

The jobs we are printing are text plus PCL commands.

Can anyone tell me why this doesn't work. I've got many other PCL printers
in the same situation that work fine!
