Having trouble playing Rage

hey guys m having a lot of trouble playing Rage,,,my screen keep on freezing for 4-5 secs tym n again,,,even updated d graphic card nd d game drivers,,bt still d same,,so much annoyed

here r my pc specs
AMD phenomII X2 550
4gb corsair ram
5770hd 1gb GC

especially on ati cards--playing fine for me luckily on a gtx570

a patch was released a day or 2 ago that may help you

Your PC specs aren't really bad (maybe a slight bottleneck from your CPU but nothing to really worry about), but the real problem with Rage right now sits with its ATI video drivers (and to a lesser extent, Nvidia). Most players have reported issues with Rage, it's generalized, not just your system specifically.

Go to Rage forums, and you will find out more about the wide range of issues, along with links to newest patch released and the Rage-specific video drivers, both which will help with the game's issues.
