KG7 Fan headers

There are 4 available on the KG7 raid.
The manual says to attach the connector from the 'power fan' to FAN2 header. What is the power fan? not the PSU?

I believe its for the PSU as my Enermax has a 3pin connection to the M/B.

some power supplies have a connector for fan monitoring. (The RPM that shows on the PC health status). If yours has that, plug it into fan2

there is a provision for a fan for the PSU, the CPU cooler fan, and a couple of case cooling fans. you dont really need to put them in any specific order, all fans are 12 V, but the BIOS and software might have been written assuming certain order on usage of these headers.

that is why the manual says to put the power fan in specific FAN2 header.
