I have a P4 850 GB Intel motherboard. I had asked the company that I bought my computer from to install a geforce3 card. They told me that the only card compatible with my motherboard is the sucky geforce2 mx. I want to know if this company is screwing me out of a good video card or are they telling the truth. I will appreciate any help or advice. Thanks.

They are of course lying. Any AGP card will work in your system. Either they don't have them in stock or they put such a poor quality power supply in that they fear a GF3 will overload it.
