Hi All
Weird. XP SP2 - local login, single hardware profile and user boots
into XP on this Acer 1360 fast and without incident, NO ERROR.

Logging into Domain (small, PDC is NT, mixed environment with Server2K
as well) gives a 'popup' saying "Virtual Memory Minimum Too Low" -

I thought it had to be rights, but rights for Domain\users and
Domain\admins are correct. SYSTEM *has* full rights. Just to be on the
safe side I temporarily gave *everyone* full rights as well. No change,
same error. If I log in locally, the exact same Pagefile.sys size
exists, everything is fine.

IN the Domain login, XP resets the "performance" to CUSTOM (although
nothing is checked under those windows) and I get the error pop up...

I've moved it around onto a second partition (won't / wouldn't keep it
there, but just to see) - this is NTFS, 40GB w/ 35 Free... - 512 Mbs
RAM, set the Paging file to 1024, 768, 512... makes no difference. Still
get the pop up... no spyware, process window says 110m / 1500 approx
(varies as I tried to change things around - but see NO leak)..

Acer uses AMD, wonder (will try today) if some IDE driver problem
exists. Need to see if the ACER uses VIA chipset...

Ideas or experience in solving GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you.
