EQ2 Cleric question

In the manual it says that a cleric can wear medium armour, but my level 14
cleric cannot wear medium armour. Can anyone tell me how to obtain that
skill?

I'm pretty sure that was something that changed between when the
manual was printed, and when the game came out. I think
clerics can only wear medium at lvl 20, and never heavy armor.

At level 20 you gain the ability to wear medium armor.

Incorrect. While we can't wear medium till 20, at 20 we can also wear
Heavy Armor and vanguard. I'm wearing full vanguard right now.

And what is your Skill in Heavy Armor? Is it comparable high as Light
Armor skill?
