I don't know if I should get skyrim for my pc or for xbox, I definitely prefer the PC controls. But I don't know if my computer could handle it.

OS: Windows 7 home premium 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~1.6GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Graphics chip type: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 260M

If I should be able to run this game, what kind of settings could I run it at: Low-Medium maybe or could I possible push it to High and still get a 30+ FPS?

Any other information you guys want to help me let me know and I'll add it. Thanks! :hello:

the i7 720? 1.6 should be fine as it will probably turbo up to 2.6 minimum probably 2.9... so the cpu shoul in theory be fine. and as you only need 68gt/dx9 gfx card you should be more than fine to play the game at least full screen medium settings.
scrim will not be that demanding gfx wise on low end systems so your 260m should have more than enough grunt to run it well

According to videocardbenchmark.net your video card does not meet the minimum recommended specs, so you most likely wont even be able to run the game. If you really want to play Skyrim on PC you should think about investing in a new Video Card.

The rest of your PC should be good enough to run the game because the minimum CPU that you need to run Skyrim is a Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, which your's is better. Also the recommended amount of RAM for the game is 3GB which you have alot more than needed.

You can compare Video cards here:

Can anyone verify this? Other websites have told me that at 1366x768 my computer and xbox will be about equally fast.
