I am planning to buy a new computer next year but my HDD of my current computer has busted. I am sick of Windows XP. So, I was thinking of buying Windows 7 for a fresh installation and then use the same OS on my computer (but wont be using the old computer). I will be using SSD then (but now will use HDD).
So, the question is.. can I install Windows 7 on my computer now. Then delete it or (stop using it) and install it on my new computer?

If you use a full or upgrade version you can.
If you use the cheaper OEM version you will be tied to that motherboard and you don't want that.
Thanks MechaNintendoMaster. I will keep that in mind when buying Windows 7!
