I'm sorry but you must adjust your screen resolution to 640 x 480 and then add another 5 inches then you will be around the proper number!!!!!!!!

We're excited. The kids and I have been reading it and are going to finish right before we go see it...on openning night of course. (Very rare that we go out to see movies...so it's quite an occasion for us!)

I just saw a new trailer on TV today. I can't f***ing wait to see this film. I better not drink anything during this film though. When I saw The Lord of the Rings I drank a medium sized iced tea. I had to pee so bad that after the movie I actually ran to the bathroom and took a goood 3 minute piss.

Yeah the LOTR is long. The Two Towers clocks in slightly longer than the first one. Personally I liked the 1st and 3rd books the best, but still expect TTT to be awesome.

ST:Nemesis is out later today. It's an even-numbered ST movie so it should be good. I hate seeing all the trailers though - spoilers.

I saw part 1 again yesterday at school. And after reading the book in English first I have to say that an amazing part of the movie isn't according to the book.

My shedule for the next movie:
1. See it
2. Read the book in English
3. See it again

After I read all 3 parts in English I think I'm gonne read them again in Dutch.

My CPU runs so hot the arctic silver undergoes nuclear fusion :eek: .

Reply to svol

Is there a difference between the English version and the Dutch version? Or are you just learning different languages and want to read them for practice?

As is always the case...
However, with the first movie, I thought they did a great job of choosing which parts to leave out. And using Arwen to rescue Frodo was good too...introduced us to the romance of the movie a little earlier. I liked it.

I just downloaded the trailer for the second movie...and I'm almost peeing myself in anticipation. We're just finishing the second book (reading out loud), so the kids will have an idea of what's going to happen, as well as see how movies so often differ from the books.

My husband has been reading the second half of the second book to us...and he's got this phenomenal Gollum voice...the kids and I just LOVE it. Well...last night at dinner...he was goofing around and started using a Johnny Bravo voice to do Gollum. Jesus...it was hilarious!! "Whoa....Precious". So we're going to be giggling a bit when Gollum first comes on the screen... :smile:

Not really... only some names have changed. I read it for English... but I like the orginal English versions also because you can link it to the movie more easely. And it just sounds better in English.

I didn't like that they rewrote an enormous part of the story and changed events. I understand that they had to cut a lot... but making up things and changing major events goes to far.

Not a bad sig, how bout mine?

Just because I like AMD or Intel more a a time because of one product compared to another, does not make me a fan boy, it makes me a person who is able to make a descision for myself.

Good... but shouldn't it be 'at a'?

BTW I'm serious with my sig... I can use some money for new RAM.

I'm not so sure... otherwise they have been gambling around with the names:
PC2100=266MHz
PC2700=333Mhz
PC3300 should be 400MHz... so I think you're right. I will change my sig right away.

Well I had a bad financial month last November: I broke my motherboard and had to buy a new one and I lots of money to build a second gaming rig. So if everyone donates me a couple of dollars then I've enough money in notime... and begging sites are comming up everywhere and work for the ones that start them, so why shouldn't I try?
