Does anyone know why Linksys have reverted back to only firmware version
1.02.1 being available for the WAG54G router from the UK support website?

Is this a "non-recommendation" for the previous beta versions issued?

The issues and withdrawals of firmware appear to be sporadic with little or
no information being provided. I am currently using beta 1.02.7 with no
problems (so far) and enjoy the extra features contained over and above the
previous versions issued.

I have a friend who has one of these, and regardless of which firmware
is used, the unit is a hopelessly unreliable pile of junk, falling over
every couple of hours.. Linksys are not much help either...

I installed my WAG54G about 3 months ago, and it has worked fine,
once I got through the initial setup. It came with firmware
1.01.6, and I haven't flashed any upgrades. I am holding off
until I see some positive responses from other users.

I am very well pleased with my WAG54G, and have no complaints.
