CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT?
MY FRIEND HAS A DELL INSPIRION 8100 AND ONE OF THE PINS BROKE OFF THE BACK PORT. HE CALLED DELL AND THEY WANT 900$ TO REPLACE THE BOARD. COULD THAT BE RIGHT? OR CAN HE DO IT HIMSELF? BY REPLACING A LAPTOP MOTHERBOARD?
HE ALSO HAS A GPS THAT HE ATTACHED TO IT. NOW HE CANT. DO THEY SELL USB ATTACHMENTS FOR THAT?
IF SOMEONE CAN ANSWER. IT WOULD GREATLY BE APPRECIATED. THANK YOU

I think that dell i8s chargeing tomuch you should go to local computer house say COMPUSA and find out what they charge,also, it would not be hard to replace mother board if you are to a very hard chanllange. He could almost buy a new laptop he need to think if it worth it or not?
