Silly qestion maybe, why does the beep signals differ?
It beeps with various frequencies almost every time a start the computer.

The beep is a P.O.S.T. Power On Self Test. Your mobo manual should tell you what each beep pattern indicates. I've never heard of them using different frequencies to distinguish beep patterns though. The beeps are usually strings of short or long beeps.

When you're talking about frequency, I assume you mean the high or low tone of the beep, not how often.

Maybe I was a bit unclear...
Yes I mean the tone-frequency.
I guess this is just normal power-fluxuations or something (sounds like ST talk!) that causes the speaker to beep a little higher or lower sometimes?
