KT266a Abit (KR7-RAID) and others

I heard the ABIT KR7-RAID was coming out mid-month in October from PC Scoops but I have seen nothing yet even on the ABIT website. Does anyone know when this is coming out??

Any other motherboards or recommendations for KT266a and RAID on the same board.

KR7A-RAID should b out in beggining ov november now.
It will have highpoint372 raid controller, which will support ata 133 standard.
That's about all new info tehre is.

I don't know man, it was on the ABit website for a while, but a week ago or so, it mysteriously disappeared??????

I wouldn't expect ABit or ASUS to be keeping KT266A release promises, something is delaying them.

I just got the Shuttle KT266A board, the AK-31a. So far, I like it a lot. It's easier to use and has more overclocking options than my Asus A7M266. It was also a lot cheaper, at only $89. The performance is excellent and I haven't had any problems with stability or driver issues. It's a basic board, in that it doesn't have onboard RAID or anything fancy, but you might check it out if you're looking for KT266A boards in general. I already had a Promise RAID card, so I wasn't worried about the onboard variety.
