I was told that the cost per page from an inkjet (HP) printer was almost half of that compaired to a xerox. This just cannot be true and so I am asking for specs, etc. to prove this wrong.

I dont know how much your inks are, but all things being equal, in Aust the cost of a black cartridge for a 950cxi HP inkjet is $79-95, and that does about 500 pages, the cost for a xerox toner cartridge is $179-00 and that does 3000 pages, so its no comparison
