And are there any ways to boost my performance in the game once it comes out?

The game has such low requirements that I am almost positive you won't need to worry about boosting performance for it on your machine.

Well, what is your gaming resolution? But with what you have right now, I think you're probably getting over 40 FPS on high settings, 1080p, but it's just an educated guess based on the game's requirements. We also need to take into account how well coded the game is, but since it's also running on consoles at 720p, I believe you'll do fine.
