well, it's obviously not the powersupply

recieved my enermax eg651p-ve today. kept my comp powered down all day for this. got the psu in, booted up and hey what do you know! it restarts 2x before it loads win2000. i don't mind that i went and bought this one, cause its really nice, it's quiet compared to my sparkle and it's got 2 fans. i know the ram isn't faulty. i'm thinking because i have it maxed out on ram (well according to ecs) that that might be causing this? well i tried a different psu, that didn't work, so time for a new motherboard, i'm going with gigabyte's ga7tvxp.

YOu could have a defective unit. They run about 10% defective I hear. Try getting it replaced first.

ya, i'm going to ship it back for a new one when the gigabyte gets here. all i know is if i try that gigabyte and i get none of this, i'll give the k7s5a to my sis and be done with it.
