Hello
I have an AMD Athlon XP 1800 running on my Asus A7V. When I go into the bios, I can change the speed of the processor. Its setting now is at 1150. I am wondering if I can adjust this higher. Does anyone know if I can, or what setting should I use?

You can't use the XP processors on an A7V motherboard to their fullest power. The A7V doesn't support the system bus of 133MHz that the XP processors run at. So right now your CPU is running at 100MHz x 11.5 = 1150MHz. On the right type of motherboard it would run at 133MHz x 11.5 = 1530MHz.

Sorry man, but you need to get a new motherboard to use the XP correctly.
