KG7-Raid & Athlon XP

Yes. The kg7 will work with an xp processor.
you will need to use the bios version 5E.
If you're looking for reccomendations, i have nothing but good things to say about this mobo. It has worked flawlessly for me.

Actually, you don't need (or want, perhaps) to use the 5E BIOS. The 5E is having a difficulty detecting CDROMs on some systems (see Paul's Unofficial KG7-Raid FAQ, Bios section)

BIOS 4J will run it fine, you just have to set the speed yourself. A table showing proper settings can be found in the ABit FAQ/KG7-Raid section.


PS: I am VERY happy with my KG7-Raid for whatever that is worth :/
