will my computer play skyrim and how could i make it?
dell optiplex gx280 low profile
4gig ram
asus eah 5450 silent
pentium 4 3.0 ghz
derext x compatible sound card

It will run, but details toned down, and lowered resolution.

Most likely Lowest Settings, and Really Low Resolution Guessing 800x600. But who knows until next friday when it's released. could be really optimized it could not be.

Thats a single core processor as well, Skyrim minimum is a duel core.

the GPU isn't very good either.

But Best of Luck. Hopefully it'll work because it'll must likely be the superior version over consoles.

You won't be able to play it. The gpu would perhaps manage but combined with with that cpu it will most likely be completely uplayable.

If by some miracle it does work - you could come back and post the fps results. :)

Will not be playable on this CPU. Also the GPU you have has some artifacts on terrain textures I heard. Time for an upgrade..? I have noticed a surge of Lenovo M58p machines in the market. If your budget is very tight get one add ATI 5570 and you will be able to play most new games at lowest/mid settings in moderate resolutions.
