Divx 6 review

While this review was very thorough on the features of Divx 6.0... it was very incomplete in terms of comparisons. Comparing Divx 6 to WMP9 and Divx 5.2 makes obsolutely no sense to me. Why not compare image quality to WMP10 or Quicktime's h.264?

It would have been nice to see some file size comparisons as well.

Anyone have any additional thoughts or comments?

Yes, I completely agree with previous remarks.

This review was massively incomplete. There's no filesize comparisons and the codecs used to compare video quality are rediculous. While it's natural to want to compare quality with MPEG-2, why are we comparing quality to such old codecs when it's obvious they will be outperformed.

Why don't we at least throw in one of the newer codecs like Windows Media 10 or Nero's H.264 codec, one that's been established as one of the best next-gen DVD codecs.

This article almost looks like it was written to benefit DivX Networks and not to be an actual technical review.
