How do I create an Emergency Repair Disk?

I installed Norton Partition Magic. I used it to enlarge the C drive on my
notebook because it was not big enough to install SP2 update. Then I
converted the C drive to NTFS from Fat 32. In that process, Norton says
"create a new Emergency Repair Disk by running Windows 2000/XP Backup
Utility"

I think I need to do all this before I attempt to install SP2 update but
can't figure out how to do it. I am running XP Home Edition Version 2002 on
Sony Vaio notebook.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My first attempt to install the SP2
update crashed computer so I am being very cautious before I do it again.
Thank you!
