Which MB is best for a P4 CPU?

I read at Tom's about the SiS645 chipset and I'm pretty sold on it (mainly due to the lower price). But I'm wondering how I can find out which MBs have this. Also, which MB is best for the P4? I'm going to buy either a 1.4 or 1.5ghz now and later on upgrade to a 2.0 ghz.

The SiS board won't be commercially available for a while yet (I want one to!) However, a fantastic board for over-clocking and general high performance (if you can stomach the price of RDRAM) is the Abit Th7-II RAID (there is a non-raid version to). It has all the bells and whistles and you can set the various things like the AGP and PCI bus independantly of the memory bus and so on.

Abit TH7-II is good!
I would prefer Asus P4T (423 pin socket) or even better P4T-E.

am i the only idiot that bought an asus board for a P4?

I don't claim to know anything about everything, I just tell people what I know.

actually Asus P4T performs much better than the Intel D850GB, and allows you to overclock too!

I dont have it myself but I gave a couple of them to my clients, and they are happy despite the extra cost.
