His PSU isn't good enough for a HD 6770 or a HD 6750.
The OP would have to upgrade his PSU first.

@OP, what sorts of games are you planning to play?

For 1080p you need a 560ti or maybe a 6950. For 120usd you can get the 6670/9800Gt and a Corsair 430w psu but you won't be able to play at that high resolution with it sorry to say. Not even starting with your cpu.

luls no you dont. you can get reasonable fps @1080p from a basic card like an 88gt. i know because i was just playing dead island @1080p medium settings on my m8's 88gt amd 6000x2... any card over an 88gt or ati 4850 will do 1080p gaming on at least minimum settings.
for the guy posting i wouldn't recommend anything more than a 4870 or its newer similar performing equivalent. as he only has an e5400 which is just entry level as far as gaming goes. so no point in making his pc top heavy with extreme gfx coz he would constantly bottleneck on newer titles... if you have an entry level machine its much better to have a balanced machine. as it will give more consistent gaming.
