I have a upgrade software (Microsoft Office Standard 2007) which I am trying to put in my computer that has Window 7. After I put the CD in and follow instruction, I am fine until it asks me to browse to find what is my E drive and when I click it, only thing appears is "E:\" and nothing afterward. Next thing I know I am not able to go any further where I have to cancel the upgrade.....What am I doing wrong or does this not take Window 7?

Please advise and thank

If you're trying to install an upgrade edition of Office you need to have the previous Office edition. Is the "E:" drive your CD/DVD drive? If so, then it may be that the install kit wants you to insert the CD for the previous edition so it can verify that you qualify for the upgrade edition.

That's exactly what it wants... you can't install an Office upgrade from scratch the same way you can a Windows upgrade.
