Surround to ps3 prob

Hello,just got a samsung ht-c350 connected to ps3 by optical, issue is got surround when on xmb but not when playing game, got surround with dvd and cd though, any idea ppl

Makes sense. If the game doesn't have a Dolby/DTS audio track, you are limited to 2.0 stereo output.

But doesnt work with gt5 which supports 5.1?
