BOOTMGR missing after installing new front-panel

I have a Coolermaster HAF 932 tower and I replaced the front panel because the headphone jack died on my old one. After plugging everything back in and booting up my computer I am greeted with the message "BOOTMGR missing, press ctrl + alt + del to restart".

I have Windows 7 64 bit, and after googling the problem. I put in my system disk to repair the installation, but after I click to repair, my installation of windows doesn't show and my only option is to click "load drivers".

Can anyone help?

  1. this happened to me once
you have to rebuild the boot manager using the windows 7 installation disk
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392
  2. You can do a reinstall that will do whats called an "Old Files" to save your data:

Thats probably the best way to do it. Otherwise you can insert the dick, boot to it and run a repair. Open the command console then type 'C:' and press enter.

It will change to C:\. Then type in chkdsk /f/r and let it run.

But the first option will probably be the better one to go with.
