Does anyone know of any "data options" to maintain the phonebook /
calendar etc. on a PC + download to this phone?

Susteen Datapilot has a version that works with Samsung phones. I haven't had
the chance to try it yet, though.

Thanks, Steve. If you find anything, I'd appreciate the info. And just
what is Susteen Datapilot?

http://www.susteen.com/ I'm considering Datapilot for use with my Sprint PCS
Samsung SPH-A660 which is essentially the same phone; Verizon has disabled a
couple of the features on the 650 that Sprint left turned on on the 660, but
there are very few differences between the two.

The kit I've seen is about $50 and includes the software and a USB cable.

It's a sad state of affairs. Very little out there. Dark ages compared
to my Sony Ericcson I had with T-Mobile.

I finally settled on Datapilot for the phonebook (you can buy a 'kit'
that includes a USB cable). Why they (Datapilot) do not do the calendar
too is a mystery.

For calendar I have had to settle on iDatebook from Xpherix. It costs a
few bucks a month and can send alarms that you've sent by text msg.
Works fine, but on the slow side. I think the processor in this phone
is too slow.
