I need to find a good motherboard for an athlon xp 1800+. I found the ASUS a7v266-e, but it's $160. I'm looking for something of equal performance and features for a tad cheaper. (I have a tight budget)
Any suggestions?

I'll knock you into next wednesday, or thursday. [-peep-], let me get my day-planner.

The ECS SiS 735 board or the Shuttle AK31A (spend the extra 20$ for the Shuttle, it can hold more RAM than the ECS).

Edit: Oh, and they cost 65$ and 85$ respectively.

Me "I bought a TNT2 M64, the BIOS says its a Vanta"
IOMagic "Theyre the same card"
Me "Um, no"<P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by kindlr on 10/29/01 00:10 AM.</EM></FONT></P>

I would stay a good distance away from the ECS but Shuttle makes a pretty good product. All the reviews (on their new board) here have been good.
Putting the LAUGH back in SLAUGHTER.
