A7V266-E incompatibilities

Below I have listed my system specification and a number of issues experienced with certain hardware. Anyone else with similar issues?

System Spec:
- Asus A7V266-E (BIOS Rev. 1002 (Oct/19/2001))
- AMD Athlon XP 1600
- Cooler Master HCC002 CPU Cooler
- NVIDIA GeForce DDR AGP graphics adaptor
- 512Mb PC2100 DDR Branded
- Adaptec 39160 SCSI Controller (Preferred)
- Adaptec 2948 SCSI Controller (Temp Solution)
- Creative Labs SBLive Platinum
- Intel PRO/100+ PCI NIC
- 2x IBM 36LZX u160 hard drives
- Pioneer SCSI DVD
- Sony SCSI CDRW

Problems:
- Adaptec 39160 SCSI controller will not detect at boot in any PCI slot
- Adaptec 39160 SCSI controller will not fit into PCI slot-1
- Adaptec 2948 SCSI controller will only detect at boot whilst in PCI slot-1
- Creative Labs SBLive Platinum will not detect in any PCI slot
- Intel PRO/100+ PCI NIC will not detect in any PCI slot

All above hardware has been tested successfully with motherboards including the Asus A7V266 and Asus P2B.

Will these problems be addressed in the next BIOS release?

Should I be presumptious and assume you've talked to ASUS about this??? I know when I've tried to talk to ASYS, I usually have had beeter luck talking to the sales team instead of the tech suppor folks... pointing out that fourms like this abound... and some of us actually listen to each other...

I Think they have got a revision out, its : A7V266-E BIOS Ver. 1002 10/19/2001
