here's the problem:

"If I would like to apply Hamming coding technique on the following 6 bits binary code “011010”, how many check bits and which position should I add these check bits into the binary code to perform Hamming coding. And what is the value of the check bits after I add into the binary code. And after that if I found the error in any case on the binary bit, how can I know that where the error bit is by using Hamming Coding to solve this problem. Specify."

i found this [link=http://www.cs.fiu.edu/~downeyt/cop3402/hamming.html] WEBSITE [/link] about hamming code and i can do what the website says, but not sure about the problem above.

i'm not sure if anyone will be able to help me. an explanation of how to do it would be great too (something i can understand becuase the websites i found are quite confusing).

THANKS A LOT !!!!!11!!!!!11!!!!!!
