2 devices on same IRQ

I've noticed my video card AND sound card are both using IRQ 11...the damn thing runs fine tho. Is this slowing my system/CPU down?? Should I leave it alone?

I have 10 devices sharing IRQ 9 and have been running it like that for almost a year now. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

first of all, to nagaverse, what 10 devices do you run all on one irq?
i have a modem and nic on the same irq and they are fine but that's because they aren't being used at the same time. i have had experience with two devices sharing an irq and there being a problem. but if you don't have any problems then levae it alone. if you do have some obscure problem in the future, then you might want to change some irq's around.

same as me, 10 devices on irq9, that's what MS does now. force mobo manufacturers to cut out plug-n-pray options in the bios, forcing you to rely on windows to handle it all. but if you have hardware that doesn't exactly like it, i'm sure you have to go out and buy a "ms certified" piece of hardware. which i'm sure they'll make something on.

OK so I'm not alone and it looks like not as deep in the caca as negaverse. Guess i'll leave it alone and off to UT to ruin someones day
