I've been trying to get RP to work with Knoppix and Mozilla in order to view streaming media. It has been a couple days of trying and I give up. I've downloaded several versions including tar, gz, and rpm. I've learned that the rpm is not compatable with debian and ran a converter to get a deb file.

Clicking on the bin file calls up wine which exits with an error code 1. I finally got wine working and it tells me that the bin file is a unix binary and does not work with wine. ARRRGGGGGGG! Why did wine pop up when it was not needed in the first place?

I suspect that all my problems are permission and path related but I've got no idea how to proceed.

Anybody had any luck with RP and knoppix?
