MOBO Problems

Recently I've had problems with my computer.
Symptoms are listed as follows.
1. Reset button quit working
2. Computer Clock started freezing up and losing time.
3. Computer Would Turn off but not turn on.
4. Lastly when trying to turn on the computer it won't post.

I've tried a new graphics card. I've disconnected all the peripherals, including CD-ROM, Hard and Floppy drives, Sound Card and Network card. Still when powering on the computer the fans and power supply would power up, but no beep and no Bios load (i.e. not posting). Before spending the money to buy a new mobo is there any ideas that someone might have.

BTW I have a Abit KA7 mother board with an AMD 700 processor.
GEFORCE 2
Soundblaster Live
512MB Ram
etc..

probably a dead motherboard! must get a new one, it must be out of warranty.
