How well will my laptop be able to run Skyrim?

I am debating whether to get skyrim for the 360 or pc, and the deciding factor most likely will be how well my pc could run the game. my pc specs are


Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2620M CPU @ 2.70GHz, 2701 Mhz

NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M

8GB of Ram

Windows 7 x64

I dont really know that much about computers, i just copied that from my spec list, how well will my laptop be able to run skyrim and is it worth it to get it on pc instead of xbox?

your lappy should be able to run it, and also better than the 360.

sky'rim is way way less demanding than it was touted to be. so will run quite happily on any gfx card that can match the performance of the old 66gt which is what a 5-6 year old card? the 540m if i remember correctly is about as good as a 98gt which means you should be able to play on medium high settings at good rez.
