Downloaded program files are chosen by XP for cleanup by default. But on my
computer when I run cleanmgr.exe, it shows 0kb for Downloaded program files
but shows many activex controls in the folder itself. My question is - I
don’t know why this option is there in cleanmgr and what it does. If no files
are being deleted when “Downloaded Program Files option is selected, then
why is this option available? What it does? My biggest concern is, in our
auto-disk cleanup, we do cleanup on this handler too. SO is there a chance
when we may delete some needed files here?
