there shouldn't be any driver conflicts between a pci and onboard raid controller? the onboard raid i would use as regular ide channels, thanks.
sorry, and also how would asus's onboard audio compare to say gigabyte's ct5880 chip? thanks

Are you trying to put like 9 drives in one computer or somthing? If you're using IDE, you can only have a max of 8, no matter how many RAID cards you put it in. But you should be able to put a second raid card in without any problems. I just don't know why you'd do it...
