If it doesn't work, there should be a way by means of a jumper on your motherboard to reset the password.

Open your case and remove the battery found on the mobo. The lack of juice will reset your mobo and delete the password.

Did you put in the password or did someone else mess with your system. You should be able to reset it easily, but it makes me wonder if someone else was mucking around in there or if someone was trying to keep you out.
