How do i find a direct 3d device for free

Hello,I was trying to install a video game and an error message came up that said "cannot find any direct3D device" is there a site I can go to to find this device? and thenget it for my computer for free?

I'm not a pro but I think it's telling you that the installed game doesn't have the "Direct3d device".
I've seen this error before too and I think it may be a compatibility issue.
