Greetings,

What's the lore about the Lost Valley? You know, the big open area through the ice tunnel
at the West side of the Dreadlands?

I know there are Scion, Wizzy and Tree-hugger ports there, and that there are some great
undead mobs for upper-40s PALs to fear-kite, but overall this huge area seems to be quite
a waste of geographical real estate.

Best regards,

The ruins are part of the Combine Empire, the ancient civilization that
build the wizard spires all across Norrath. There's a few quests that
involve the NPCs in those ruins. It's a bit of a waste because of the size
of the occupied versus empty space there, but honestly a lot of Kunark has
wasted space. Has anyone ever turned right after exiting the tunnel from
Lost Valley and visited that part of the Dreadlands?

For the first couple of years after Kunark was released there was a
pathing bug which meant mobs would collect at a certain spot in this
area, and then just walk backwards and forwards waiting to be pulled.
I earned rather a lot of exp at this spot. ;)

Unfortunately they fixed it...
