I'm planning on upgrading my hardware shortly after christmas in the new year but I've no idea what to go for. My current PC was shop bought as a whole but eventually I plan on replacing everything until its entirely custom. (motherboard and everything)
------------------------------------------------
Current I have this:
nvidia gefore 9800 GT 512mb
6gb ddr2 ram
intel core 2 quad Q8200 2.33ghz
can't remember the PSU but its a silent 500w one (cost quite abit)
and just a stick hard drive / motherboard and case etc
-------------------------------------------------
Cooling is abit annoying since I have to have 1 side panel off to keep the temps down to 65 degrees while gaming which I think is alright?
I use my PC basically for gaming and it runs both Dead Island and Skyrim fine on High settings (not ultra) without any FPS issues but the GPU is basically under full load and I can see it not last much longer since I like my games in a least mid-high graphics.
I'm not sure whether to wait for more money and just replace the motherboard / CPU / case or upgrade my graphics card in mean time
