Has Epox 8KHA+ problem solved

I would like to upgrade to Athlon XP and now considering Motherboard. It has been observed that 8KHA+ has BIOS chip incompatiblity problem. Has it been resolved and all current retail boards have no problem. Any other MB can be introduced to me for great stability.

I haven't seen anything like that. Is this the 8KHA + KT266A board you're talking about?

Well I'll tell you this much, I'll NEVER buy an EPOX board again -- given the HELL and the outright aggravation I've been put through these last 2 days. Specifically the two 8KHA + I bought were DOA.

*Very big sigh*

A previous EPOX board purchased about 18 months ago actually booted up, however it had an AGP slot problem which necessitated pressing the RESET button in order for the system to actually boot up to the OS.

So if I were you, I would seriously hold off on ANY purchase of EPOX 8KHA + boards until they deal with whatever is causing this non-boot condition.
