XPsp2 Start menu | Help&Support Center app | Main page

Date under 'Did you know?' tip does not refresh anymore,
I used to click on the 'house' icon to reload page and
show current date but that doesn't work anymore, it shows
now Sept. 10 2004 it seems to be 'stucked' in date. How
correct this. Thanks

Hi Greg,

Delete the newsver.xml file in C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\Config\News
Open Help and Support Center, and the newsver.xml file should be rebuilt
upon updating.
